I just got the same robo number, IRS is auditing you blah blah blah call back on the same number. Thinking about calling them back to prank call them, can't imagine what they are actually asking for lol. "Pay $500 dollars in an untraceable form of currency for us to go away...."
Just got off the phone, moron finally transferred me to the supervisor, he didn't think I was taking it seriously and hung up. Lol. Apparently if you pay the attorney the fees he's owed directly, they'll drop the lawsuit! Haha,
They called me today saying they were from the US Treasury Department, They also used the numbers of 202-417-9177 and 202-544-1424. They said i was selected to receive a grant of $7500 then they asked for a $250 deposit knew it was a scam right away, Then they call me again and told me i was selected for a $9000 grant. They blew their own scam
