I'm in Kingston and have just gotten a call from them on my cell phone. No one would have this number except friends and family, so it was clearly sold to them by Rogers. Can't say I am surprised considering the track record of Rogers. Thank God I only have a few months left on my stupid contract with them.
I'm amazed to find out how many people are receiving these calls just as I'm. The 206-495-0410 has been calling daily for weeks to my Rogers cell. I'm in Toronto. It is absolutely annoying as it disrupts me when I’m in the office in the middle of something – it generally calls around noon. I have no doubt that is a scam and never pick it up.
I have also received annoying calls from a supposed cruise captain announcing that I have win whatever and from the 503-563-0372, 503-457-1122 and 509-209-6671. Now, I don’t pick the phone unless I recognize the number; if someone is interested in reaching me, they can always leave a message.
Just stopped in to say that i'm also getting calls from both the Washington and Oregon numbers on my cellphone as well. I live in the GTA.
Really starting to get annoying.. multiple times i've woken up to find that they called me early in the morning.. Many times prior to 9. Thank god I turn my ringer off on the few days that i get to sleep in.
Honestly there should be a no-tolerance policy on this... any company that does this kind of mass-telemarketing (for whatever reason it may be) should be ashamed.
