I also received a call from this number to my cell. No sound, no voice, no response. Caller just hung up.

Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be -This Is An Attempt To Verify Who You Are.
Legitimate Companies Will Properly Identify Themselves On The Caller ID.  The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Yeah, but when they call my cell phone it cost me money also. Extra minutes cost me money. They called me 3 times within 1 hour! All for a damn survey!

I NEVER answer numbers on my cell that I don't recognize, EVER.  I have small amount of any time minutes myself so made this my rule for me.
If a friend gets a new number they sure know enough to leave a message.

Most of these companies don't pay for long distance. Most have a package plan where they get unlimited long distance.
