I received four calls from this number today. When it became apparent I wasn't going to cooperate he called me an [***], then asked me how old I was, then told me I was sexy. I hung up on him. He called back, I pretended I was an answering machine, and screamed BEEP into the phone before hanging up. Then I blocked this number. Not that it helps, these same morons have called me from another number in the past.
I have received 4 calls from this number in the last two days. Each time, there is nobody on the other line, just dead air. When I called back, I get a recording letting me reach a person if I have an extension. Then I get a busy signal.
Other postings have said this is a company trying to fool you into letting them access your computer with bogus claims that their company has detected a problem with the computer, and they can fix it for a fee.
I have a friend in IT who said he had to help a woman who fell for one of these. The company charged her $200, and then it cost her $400 to get what the first bogus company put on it.
Don't fall for these scams, and never let anyone access your computer that you did not solicit.
They called me twice yesterday with no one on the phone when I answered. Then they called me at 6:20 AM today! Even if this is from Seattle, that would be 3 in the morning for them. Of course, no one was there when I answered. Can't even tell them to remove me from their list,
Was awakened at 6:15 this morning from 206-538-7569. By the time I stumbled through my house, they had hung up. I will say that my computer stays on all the time and all computers in the house have been upgraded to IOS8 version of Microsoft. The IOS8 has been the worst upgrade in the history of Microsoft. Wouldn't surprise me at all if these were blatant hackers.
