Just hung up from the same kind of call. Received a grant code number and was told to call 206.693.4377. Thought maybe it was one of those scams where you call a number and it automatically debts your phone bill. I didn't call. These calls are being generated from a survey I took a few weeks ago. I have everybody and their mom calling me with offers of some kind. It was the first and last time I do a survey.
Said that he was from the United States and that I won a free grant that I could pick up at Wal-Mart? said his name was Michael Green, but hardly spoke English, so I had a vary hard understanding him. And he read off an e-mail that was not mine.
This person told me I was awarded a free grant and that I could pick it up at any Moneygram Store (WalMart, CVS, Wallgreens). However I first had to pay $250 to register the card and the I would be given the monies.
These jerks called me claiming that i was qualified for a $9200.00 grant and i would not have to pay any money back. Then told me i would have to pay $250.00 to register a card. Seriously was gonna get a title loan to do so thank god i used my brain and did some research before i made this mistake. Beware people if your getting a grant u shouldn't have to pay for it. I HOPE YOU [***] ARE READING THIS AND YOU GO STRAIGHT TO HELL WITH YOUR SCAMMING SELVES. GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR UGLY SOULS.
