I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
206-708-2849 called me and I answered it, a recording said it was absolutely my last chance to lower my credit card bill, and to press 1, so I did, some woman answered said something about am I calling about my lower rate ( she was not from this country! ) I said no that I don't have a credit card and I'm on the do not call list and she put me back on hold, after 3 minutes a recording says Customer service not available now and it hangs up. Do not answer, just a scam.
Call came in from this number a few minutes ago, to my do-not-call listed phone in NJ. No caller id, no message, and based on what I've found the internet, no scruples. Why are is our govt. spending a fortune to spy on the entire planet, but doesn't seem to have the will to stop these thieves? I'd like to have my telephone back, instead of having to avoid it.
