We've received daily calls on our home phone that I've screened for weeks.I finally picked up and told them not to call back and a male voice promised to call the next day. they did! I picked up and asked them not to call again, and a male voice told me he would get back to me tomorrow. When they called the next day I picked up and pressed a single key for about a minute. when I lifted my finger a male voice started talking about how he likes it when someone presses a key and he waits for them to stop-- I hung up before he could finish.
Consistently call several times a week even after I tell them I have nothing to donate. We have on occasion given items for them to pick up but I told them I no longer need to have them do this because we have a Value Village nearby that accepts donations. Several times the driver did not take all the items I left out for them because the truck was too full.
