Did a little research on this matter. Check out the FBI website, "www.fbi.gov/scams-safety/e-scams." Scroll down to "Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Pay Day Loans." The site gives information on many types of scams and where a complaint can be filed.
Just called The U.S. District Court Western District Of Washington main switchboard and no one knew anything about a Cyber Crime Unit. I was assured if there was anything pending that a letter would have been sent. I also gave them the number that was left on my voicemail.
On another site re number 206-801-3403 is an identical blog from a Judge Robert J. Bryan, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, which is identical to the above blog from Chief Judge Marsha J. Pechman (including same format, misspellings, omitted words, etc.). Just some info for you. I have gotten calls wanting my son to call the above number within 60 minutes and something about Name, Social, (SSN) (could not make out all the message as the caller had an accent and sort of mumbled most of the words). I'm "not buying it" either.
I've received multiple calls/VMs from this number claiming that a lawsuit has been filed against my social security number' by a man identifying himself as Alex Parma from department of legal investigation. I've been sued. They notify you by mail. Trust me, it's a scam. Don't call him back.
