A call came via our land-line stating we owed the IRS a definitive amount of dollars. The caller claimed they had sent 3 notices in the mail and were going to send the police to our doorsteps to arrest us. Don't be fooled by such intimadation and fradulent calls. It goes without saying, do not answer the phone if the number is not recognized or acquire a phone blocker. These calls are increasing in frequency. Be aware and alert.
They claim I owe $3456 in past taxes, just solely me when my husband and I file together. We pay our taxes every year and do so through a tax agency. I stated this and said, "wouldn't the tax agency be the one questioned, not me." They said, "no, after they do the filing it's out of their hands." I asked for my callers info, this is what he gave: Peters Brayn, his "IRS" badge number is 618490.

received call at 10:45 am, from unknown number. message left that they were the IRS and were suing.... well good luck with that!! Tried calling back to get any names or other information, busy. I hope not many people fall for this BS
