Me too! Some pre-recorded message about an expiring auto warranty. the caller id on my cell said 011 44 207 412 1069. Isn't 44 the country code for the UK?
I received a called from this # (207-412-1069). It was a auto-dial and a recorded message that stated customer service wanted to lower my credit card interest rate. It did not state my name or what company. It cue to dial one if I wanted a lower rate. I hit one and a man said "Customer service may I help you". I asked what was the offer. He said "Customer service may I help you". I then said that the recorded message offered a lower rate on my credit card, but did not say from what bank. I told him I was interested in the offer, so explain away! He hung up. Ironically they choose the wrong household, my spouse and myself do not use consumer credit cards. Reading the above post it is clear to see this organization was 'phishing' for information looking for folks silly enough to give there account # to 'customer service'.
