If I am home and answer a call to this number it hangs up. They will only leave a message if it get to the answering machine. There is no way they can do business if you must respond by hitting certian keys.
This sounds like a phone fraud that makes money on every call placed. Like delivering fliers and then throughing them into the garbage.
I'm getting calls every day with the same message for extending my auto service warrenty. The numbers used are always area 207 but the numbers change. 448-9380, 441-3433, 449-6702, 434-9772
I've received several other calls from the same 207 area code: 433-5525, 448-9380, 478-6002. Always between 10-11am Pacific. They all have a +44 before the number. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers and have noticed that they always stop after 5-6 rings. I am on the DO NOT CALL registry. Does anyone know what "+44" indicates?
just received a call from this number. The answering machine picked up, and no message was left. Received a call on 2/1/08 from another 4-207 number, same situation.
