I got three calls like this today, one of which included this number. THREE! The other two numbers were 773-728-8019 and 603-875-6285. I just got my new phone two weeks ago!
It is a pre-recorded message about extending a car warranty. I opted to speak with an operator... Once he got on the line, I asked why am I getting this message when I don't even own a car....the dude hung up!
I hope they find out who is doing this... it is a scam!
Called my cell, with the pre-recorded message of extending a car warranty, I listened, and at the end, it gave an option to be removed from a list by pressing #2. I did, and it said "Thank you" and ended the call. I just hope that it did remove me, and by pressing #2 did not authourize some kind of scam from my phone number?? Does anyone know about this?
