ask them to remove you from the list, if you need to do this formally then do so, if you are on federal do not call list and they call anyway threaten them with call from your states attorney general, or tell them you have already called the states attorney general. If you submit formal complaint and ask to be removed and they do not remove from their call list you have a case, notify state attorney general. If you and or a bunch of others also being harassed then tell them state attorney general may consider (if friend over state lines) a US federal US attorney call and case against them if they do not stop harrassing you.
I certainly understand. Two options that I have come up with :
1) check the Play Store app on your phone and download a call blocker application. I personally use you mail.
2) check the Play Store app on your phone and download an application titled "blockcallsgetcash".
I just installed this application on my phone and I don't know how well it works yet but wI'll do a follow up.

leave message on your home VM that if this is a telemarketer please beware I am on the feredal do not call list. 'Please leave your name, your company's name and number'; then report this information to the states attorney general after doing a reverse phone number look up for said company, giving all information you can get. If that so called company is in violation of not following the law with regards to do not call list they are in for a lot of trouble.
