ADT scammer called my cell phone with a canned message - Press 1 to have an agent call you back.  BLOCKED!!

I can tell you that's not ADT-they never call from a number with a regular area code like this-they have one SINGLE number (not saying the number for obvious reasons). You were correct in assuming this was a scammer.

Called Monday ~10 a.m. Didn't pick up because unknown #. Left blank msg. Google search of # resulted in Bird Paradise in Stockton, CA.

Message left:  Recorded message indicating it's ADT and to press "1" to speak with an agent; "2" to be removed from this list.  Caller blocked.

Call showed coming from Stockton - I didn't answer and it left part of a voicemail stating ADT. Total scam. Blocked the number.
