I just received a text message from someone identifying themselves as "Patricia Melvin". The text reads, "This is patricia melvin [sic] I am hearing impaired, can you handle website design for new company and do you accept credit card payment?"
Think I'll respond and say that I've read reports of her previous scams, but would be glad to help for payment in advance and upon clearing of the check.
Same person got me a few days ago with a text followed by different phone numbers that sounded similar in nature. They were hearing impaired and needed a website made for a agricultural company located in FL. I was stupid enough to give them my email address and have also sent me an email after I found out when I deleted/blocked them. I'm so glad I did not waste time on this scammer..

This time she was Panny, hearing impaired and needed invitations for her daughter's wedding. She was surprising her daughter with wedding invitations for a wedding 6 weeks away - who does that? First said she has 200 guests then said she needed 300 invites. Completely made no sense. Used phone 707-847-6549.
