This number keeps calling me, at a very odd hours, no voice mail, no messages from them, I have add them to the rejected list, as they are and keep calling my cell phone. In addition, that I have moved to a different state hence the calls are at midnight or at 5 Am...hate it!!!
same MO left no message. Be AWARE of this other SCAM as well it is 866-232-2197, the call saying there is a formal complaint that is being filed, in this case they were looking for a person I knew. and if they do not get a call back that papers will be filed in the county the following day. I decided to contact the public defenders office in my county. They called the number...they told me it is a SCAM!!! Damn no good people. Block these numbers.
Got a phone call and they hung up, so I called back. They called on my cell phone which is strange to start with. Caller stated he was from the California Peace officers Association. Asked me if I wanted to donate a check to them for abused and neglected kids in my area and throughout the state. Told him NO. He said that he could send me some info, I said that wasn't necessary that I would look them up online, Once again he repeated the company. I hung up and looked up the California Peace Officers Association. So I called them, gave them the phone number that I got the call from, all the info I had as to the conversation and my name and number if they needed any assistance. Rather strange when I told him we were retired deputies it didn't ruffle his feathers one bit. So sad, people do this and there are those that would donate to these liars
