They call my seven year olds phone 5+ times a day. Every time I answer the call the line is dead air. I have stated that this phone number belongs to a minor and that we are on the Do Not Call Registry. That is usually when they hang up. I have received about 100 calls from them over the last few weeks but never once a has a person on the other end said anything.
DNC has nothing to do with this. This is a sleezy debt collector. The only way to make them stop is to send them a certified, return receipt cease and desist calling letter, report them to the CFPB and your state attorney general, and to also make a police report since a minor is involved. You will probably end up suing them since they have violated the law so many time.
