I answered this repetative call after two weeks of harrassment... Got the fog horn, and an autamated message that went on to tell me I would be rewarded with 2 complimentary boarding passes on a carabian cruise if I simply complete a ten question survey, also automated. The questions were in regards to my age, sex and education level, home ownership and credit card holdings. After completing the survey in less than a minute I was transfered to a call centre (keyboards and phones in background) where a girl took my name, postal code and inquired if I was using a cell phone... then, in a flash, she said something so fast I couldnt understand followed by telling me to hold for more info but instead she hung up ...
I have no idea where this call centre is and they don't appear to take incomming calls as the line is always busy.
I just went through that exact same call and decided to come and look it up. I Made it through to the call center, and asked "Is this actually really?" Then the girls reply was "Yes it is", Then I said "I'm unsure of this, I don't really want to give my name", and she then hung up!
Just got a call from this same number and a man speaking with a middle eastern voice claiming his name is Ricky and he's calling to check on my computer. I said "Okay"? as a question and he replied, "How are you" and then hung up. Weird!
