I received the same message, but when I called back and they also told me the same thing, that I owe back taxes and to get an attorney. I looked up the San Antonio IRS number and called them and for some reason or another, the gentleman that answered the phone said the same thing, but then a lady came on and hung up. Did they hack into this number too? 210-841-2090! Now when you call this number, there is a recording, so not sure what the heck is going on with this other number now!
What you posted doesn't make any sense. Are you sure you did not call the wrong number? The official IRS page indicats this: San Antonio 8626 Tesoro Dr.
San Antonio, TX 78217
Monday-Friday - 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. (210) 841-2090
Perhaps you should try a different office, there are a lot of them in Texas. Here is the link to the irs page: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Contact-My-Local-Office-in-Texas
The irs does not call you. They send letters. When you do not respond to the letters, they send a certified, return receipt letter that you must sign for. Then when you do not respond to that, they simply freeze your bank accounts. That usually gets everyone's attention.
Received several calls from 210 390 9354 and 210 390 9702. any way we can robo call them back? Told them I was an agent and interpol was on their way to get them.
I got a phone call from 210-841-2090 also!!! What is going on with this number? I live in Louisiana, so this seems crazy to be calling me. I have already done my taxes unless they are doing an audit on me. I understand they don't call but send a letter...
