I recieved a call yesterday on my cell stating I needed to call this number or I would be subject to arrest. Made me very upset but my husband realized anything from the IRS would come in letter form first so I checked on internet and found out it was a scam.

Had the same thing happen. They said my address, and had part of my social security but not all. The Indian speaking man who claimed to be Daniel OBrien.....also tried to claim that they had my signature, that was a lie also.
Don't get scarred just know that the IRS would not call you, they will send letters. And their number is almost impossible to get through unlike this scam!
Got a call from the "Senior" Auditor, "Daniel Obrien" with threats to have me arrested, a case #, and 2 phone numbers, 210-418-5238 and 347-979-9220. He had a Pakistani/or Pashtuni accent. Yeah, like this jerk is Irish. I told him I'm a Expert Rifle and Pistol and if he wants to put himself in danger, he is welcome to visit. :)
It is 10/16/2015 just got the same thing. That call came from (206)-855-6576 saying that I need to contact IRS within 24 hrs at (210) 418-5238 or the "Cops" would be here to arrest me. Guess some people have nothing better to do.
same here, # (210)-418-5238
I got a call from an Indian speaking gentleman, stating he was with the IRS.
That there is a case in my name that will expire in 24 hours. if I do not call them back to settle the issue, a warrant for my arrest will be in effect.
i think this is a [***] call...
