I recieved a call yesterday on my cell stating I needed to call this number or I would be subject to arrest. Made me very upset but my husband realized anything from the IRS would come in letter form first so I checked on internet and found out it was a scam.
Called from 202-239-1646 sounds like they are using a computer voice. That if I don't call this number 210-418-5238 that I will be taken under custody by local cops. REALLY!
Received the same call just now.. but it was from a +20 68 556576. that is how the number showed up on the called id. it was a recorded message from a female with the same message that I needed to contact the number right away.. Im glad I looked it up because it is obviously a fake!!
Got 2 calls from a woman stating she was with the 'IRS" and that the "cops" would be coming to my door within 24 hours to arrest me if I didn't call her back at 210-418-5238. Please don't fall for this it is obviously a scare tactic and scam.
