They have been calling me non stop for the past three days! I finally picked up after 4 consecutive calls in a row, told the woman I was at work and hung up. I have one item on my credit report that I am currently paying off. I feel as if I owed anyone, it would be on my credit report. I'm not falling for the BS.

I Picked up the phone and dead air. I said Hello about 3 times. Nothing. I said stupid computer robo call, can't even respond when prompted.
Then they played the prerecorded message.
Disclaimer! ! ! I'm not Nancy Pitt.
"This message is soley intended for Nancy Pitt. We have a claim number against you. If you are not Nancy Pitt then please hang up and disregard this message. If this is Nancy Pitt then please press 0.
So after receiving about 100 plus calls from these idiots over the past 2 years I figured what do I have to lose. So I pressed 0. My intention was to tell someone off. No such luck. I was put on hold with some crap music playing in the background. After a little less than a minute I hung up.
Most annoying scam out there. They just make up a name and call you. Really?
I just got a call from these guys. They don't mention a company name but they gave me a claim number. I recall getting a call from these folks a few months ago. I picked up the phone just out of curiosity and the lady said i have a judgement against me for $750. I asked her to send me, in writing, details of that judgement and said if I was at fault i'd gladly pay. She said if it were delayed, the judgement could wind up doubling. I told her i'd gladly pay that amount, too, if i were at fault and insisted that she mail me documentation to the address they have on file.
IF there really was a judgement, there would have been a trial & a judge would have ruled. Texts, phone calls, & emails are not considered official notification of a debt AND it is a violation of the FDCPA if they do not MAIL a WRITEN document of the debt within 5 days of your request or give their company information when requested.
DEMAND those things if they call again (but expect threats & excuses)..
TAC a collection company? Couldn't even tell me the pay day company. All that say a contract was breached. I asked for something in the mail supporting there claim they don't do that!!! Really !!!! A scam company after going back in forth about mailing the information the scammer got pissed and hung up. The scary thing is they have the last four of your social security number.
