I get calls from these people at least twice a day. I do not know anyone in Texas and when I call the number back I either get a busy signal or a voice mail saying Metro News. I left a message to them that I was on a do not call list and to never call here again.
I got a few missed calls from this number. They just called me back now and I answered. It was a woman calling about a newspaper subscription that I just signed up for last weekend. She just wanted to make sure that my delivery started and if it was to my satisfaction. I let her know that I am receiving the paper now and everything is going well. That was all. The call was less than two minutes.
Since the number is from Texas (I'm in Las Vegas), I'm guessing they outsource to an outside company to do these kinds of calls.
