No. Total scam. Comes out of India. Arrest warrants are only issued by judges to duly constituted law enforcement officers in the jurisdiction where the crime has been committed; they are only issued on probable cause. They are only served by duly constituted members of law enforcement agencies. Debt is not a criminal matter. Criminal matters are handled by the public prosecutors. Certainly not by some jerk who claims he works for a private law firm.

If you have received a call stating:
1. You have defrauded a financial institution
2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
5. You will receive a court summons
6. Authorities are coming to arrest you
7. Anything similar to above,
a. Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
b. Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities

just got a call from them also. Said they were working for advance America.net which scams people out of money via western union. they scammed me a year or so ago. Christy called today and said she was working for pre trial litigation svc and I would be facing three felonies according to the check 21 law... I asked her what was that? she couldn't explain. She said she called as a courtesy because I didn't have a criminal record. they would hold this until tmrw until I made a payment!! SCAM SCAM SCAM. I never took a loan from these folks. They told me I could get arrested and have to go to jail and my bond would be 5000, no 10% straight cash.... a lot of mess. don't fall for it.

These are hard-core scammers. They try to phone harrass you, hit 'em back hard with threats to inform the authorities. Then do it. They seem to be picking on women and cold-calling them and yelling at them to scare them. Ladies, don't fall for it. Hit 'em back!
