I too received many calls from some one claiming to be from Microsoft hacking dept.... the no. that showed on the caller id said unassigned 253 243 1281 ...when i played dumb and said i was having trouble logging on ..he to told my to go to google search and type www.viewer.com of course I didn't ... i continue to asked all sorts of questions he gave me a fake IP address said it was mine and that I was getting hacked and they was going to fix it remotely which i would pay a fee of $99 on a online site...I asked for their no. he gave me is employee no. ms7870....phone no. 210 88 0973...and 866 430 1014
caller says he from mircosoft and that the computer has been sending errors and they need to show me where they are and that they need access to my computer to fix it ... it's been repeated two or three calls a week since aug
I got a call from this number while I was at work. They claimed my work computer had an IP conflict and was being hacked. They also claimed that they sent me numerous notifications and wanted me to turn on my computer. They were then going to walk me through other things, which I never gave them a chance to do. She had a strong East Indian accent, but said her name was Emma Watson. She hung up on me when I told her I have been a computer technician for 15 years and there is no way she has my IP address, there is no conflict, and no one is hacking my computer.
I was called many times,4 this past week and 3, 5 weeks ago by tech support/ Microsoft,????? #s 2108880973 + 2108880970 telling me that someone is trying to access my computer every time I go online. He gave me my computer license #, I have checked it + it was wrong. I think the next time I'll just tell him that my computer has been replaced and not to call me any more!!! In "Yahshua our Messiah"
