If you give a collector any inclination you know the person they want, they will not stop. The best way to be rid of them is simply say "sorry you have the wrong number" If they ask you anything else just tell them that over and over. DO NOT SAY THIS IS NOT THIER NUMBER Thats the same as saying theyre sitting right here to a debt collector. If they ask your name, tell them its not any of thier business or simply lie. Once they mark your number as a "wrong number" you wont hear from them again, sometimes it only takes once.
I blocked the number through my verizon services. Verizon gives you up to 5 numbers to block and i did it and ever since have not rec a call. :) we shall see though since they hire people to call constantly.
If you do that, they also have at least 4-5 additional numbers that do their auto calling, so blocking this number will help for a while, but you'll soon start getting calls from other number.... all credit one.
iv had a cap card for over a year and i missed one payment and they call ,5,6,7,8x a day.......no messages left but getting ready to close my acct calling me that many time in a day .......maybe ill check the fdcpa
