I live in TN and got my first call from this number today. Filed and FTC complaint but really don't expect anything. I'm on the state and federal do not call lists but don't think it does any, or at least not much, good. Get calls like this all the time. Block numbers and file reports to not avail.
I think the only way something might be done about this mess is to for normal people to someway organize and pressure the pols to do something serious about unwanted calls. The problem seems to mostly be lack of enforcement and/or penalties. An official from the TN Do Not Call List called me about a complaint and said it's very easy for the telemarketers to evade the laws.
