Woman with a thick Indian accent said "I am calling about your computer." I told her not to call again, to remove my number from her calling list, she repeated, "I am calling about your computer." I said "You know nothing about my computer" and she said "Things are being downloaded and there is a lot of activity." This is a SCAM! When I asked what company she was from, she just repeated "This is about your computer." Infuriating.
got call from this same lady I think & she didn't like it when I started asking the questions. she said she was from Help Tech in Las Vegas, Nevada & her name was Susan Paylor & gave me a 1-800-935-0714 helpline #. She said she got my name & number from online public & when I continued to ask her questions she hung up on me
same as the rest regarding questions about computer. As I recognized this as the scam where they claim they notice their is a problem with your computer, I hung up. However, the important thing is that you should not take calls from this number (which I doubt is the real number since I do not know of any exchange that starts with a zero (077).
I got the same call from a guy with a thick Indian accent saying that there is someone on my computer, I told him I have spyware no one but me is on my computer and lose my number. Then I hung up.
