male caller with heavy indian accent called and said he was calling from my credit card company and would like very much to lower my interest rate on my account. I said sure, that sounds great to me, lets do it. He then asked for my account number. I told him I would never give that out over the phone. He insisted that it was necessary so they could verify they were talking to the account owner. I told him he would need to provide more information then to prove he was from my credit card company but before I could finish he hung up.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!
