I answered when they called me. I was surprised because I don't have any credit cards so I asked to speak to an operator. The guy sounded foreign (stereotypically what we might think of as an Indian accent). I told him I don't have a credit card and wanted to know why he was calling me. He asks how old I am. I tell him. He starts to argue with me and says I sound like I'm 12. I'm like no I'm not, why are you calling me. He kept insisting I'm lying and must be 12. I hung up.
Just received a call from that number...at first it was a recording saying they could lower my interest rate on my credit card, then a guy with an Indian accent started talking. I asked who was calling and he tried to ignore me, but I kept asking him, he said "credit card services", and I hung up on him.
This number robo-called me offering to lower my credit card rates.
I'm on the do not call list, like that matters since the FCC really doesn't seem to care.
The caller ID listed the caller as "UNITED ST GOVER"
