Got a call from this # at the office. He asked for Mr Whatever, when I said he wasn't here, he asked if I was Mrs. Whatever. I asked where he was calling from and I couldn't understand a word he said. Said he would call back later. I think I'll have some fun with this one.
So my household started to get this phone call yesterday, April 4, 2008. I live in Hawaii and the same things appear. I have a talking caller ID and it says number available but no name. Usually the name will be said out loud. There is absolutely no area code and this idiot called at 5:30 AM. When a guy picked up there was no answer. This same person called back at 6:00 AM. A female picked up and this guy with a strong indian/pakistani accent tried to talk to her about mortgages. She said that it was six o'clock in the morning, told him she wasn't interested and hung up. He called back at 6:45 AM and I picked up and there was no answer. On April 5, 2008 this idiot called at 5:09 AM. No one picked up due to the hour and the fact that it was the weekend. He called back three minutes later. I went out to try and catch it, but I missed the phone call. He called back later at 7:02 AM and a guy picked up and yelled at him. He used some profanity and told him to never call again. What was very strange though was that he asked for him by name! We are not listed in the phone book and when you search my number on the internet, it doesn't show first names. For the person who commented on WiFi, we don't have WiFi, so I don't think its the WiFi. We are going to try to block the number, but from what I've heard, phone companies won't block one individual number...it has to be all incoming calls or none! We are debating whether or not to file a police report but it is going to be hard considering the fact that we don't have an area code. This person only calls three times a day so hes reached his quota for the day...but we'll see about tomorrow if he calls. Unfortunately we can't act like the person he's asking for doesn't live here since he already knows he that he spoke to that person once...we'll keep it posted to see what happens...
