So very pathetic, this scam. "John" from "The Technical Department" called a few times to let us know of computer problems and tried for access. it was pointed out that the reason this scam isn't working is call display + the fact that all the scam details are now online -- on Microsoft's site and elsewhere. Funniest part? He got pissed off and insisted he's from Pakistan, not India :)
I received a call from 212-584-0021 saying they were tech support. I told them not to call this number again. The man with an Indian accent began cursing and threatening me. This call came in on October 3, 2015. We also received a call from an LA, CA number (213-217-9999) about a minute before that call. They were told not to call back also.
