They are stupid--keep on calling you and keep on pushing you to set up a conference call to talk to our CEO. I was really surprised the way he talked to me this morning, putting his best, pushing me to do things like calling our CEO and than setting up the time for the conference call!!! They really suck. They left 2 numbers 212 786 2492
212 920 8181 ext. 326.
First time they called they said they are from GDS Energy. Next time they called and said they are from NexGen Energy. The person who called told his name is Tom Smuchtz.
These people rally suck.
If you have been contacted by a representative of GDS International, it is unlikely that they will tell you that's where they are calling from. GDS International has such bad press that they prefer to introduce themselves as senior executives from whatever project they are trying to sell. E.g. My name is Joe Bloggs and I'm the director for CIO Europe. Every single one of the events listed below is organized by GDS International. If you have been contacted in regards to a sponsorship opportunity for one of these events, it is strongly advised not to spend money with this company.
GDS International's salespeople will attempt to take you onto one of these websites while they have you on the phone. They will then give you a password to access their delegate list. Expect the list you see to look nothing like the people who you will actually be able to meet at one of these events. The reason these pages are password-protected is so they can change the names on the list to make it more attractive to sponsors. They will claim that all the names of their lists are contractually confirmed. This is a lie; the majority won't even have heard of GDS International let alone contractually bound themselves to attending one of their events.
I just got a very insistant caller from this same number. He said his name was David Franklin from Energy & Utiltiy Tech Group in New York. I did a google search and can't find this company name but also said his website was not working today..anyone else get a call like this?
I made the mistake of actually talking with someone for a few minutes and then politely declined her offer to attend a seminar. GDS now calls me every few hours. It's almost harassment.
