I was called from this number stating I owe a loan that I made in 2014 supposedly in hilo but I was living in Maui the island I'm currently living on til this day and the lady was very rude telling me I was rude because I was telling the truth and this is not the first time they called and tell me I had a loan in collection but I can avoid further action if I pay 135.00 today but I know this is a scam because this ain't the first time they say to avoid court and even gave me the court date but when I checked they were no such court date for me so just giving people heads up don't give any money to this number its a scam people using old information to scare you
I have been getting calls from 213-223-6840, telling me I owe them money, and if I dont call back in 24 hours, they will be forced to take other actions. I did return the call, they told me it was for an unpaid payday loan. I ask them to send me all the paperwork they had on it, because I have received several calls from from different companines, and I wanted to verify that I did indeed have a loan with them. They refused to provide me with any paperwork. They told me that I should have it already, and that they were not going to send anything. I told them that until they do, I will not pay anything, that my attorney advised me to get paperwork from from any companies where money is owed.
Called and didn't say anything. I called back and talked to a man that stated I owed $1,700 to a payday loan company called Castle Payday. I told him I never had a loan and he said that they had my information and that my credit score was 714 (which is wrong ) and that I worked for a company that I worked for 9 years ago, which is all information that would be on a credit report. He did have my last four of my ssn. I told him I wanted a statement showing when I received this money and how and he said that he could tell me when. I told him I wanted something in writing and he stumbled over his words, said good luck to you and hung up. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
I have received calls on my mobile number for several days in a row from the company at this number [213-223-6840]. Each time they call I tell the person calling they have reached the wrong number, and the person from this company tells me my number will be removed from their calling list. Yet, I continue to receive calls from them. When I ask for the name of the company, they hang up on me.
message left on machine, sounded like dude was reading from a script: "We are contacting you in regards to a very important business matter that has been placed in our office. We wanted to give you an opportunity to respond before any decisions get made. It is imperative that you call our office so we can assist you with our options that you may not be aware of. Please contact our office of Critical Resolution Mediation at 1-877-929-3137 at ext 199. Thank you." Yeah, BS.
