I received a voicemail with a recorded message that was cut off at the beginning and followed by the message I had 4 allegations against me and authorities would be coming and I needed to contact this number (213-228-5629) from what I've read it sounds like a scam but I'm going to report it to the local police.

The IRS does not need to sue anyone. They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office. Several of them. Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for. Again delivered by the Post Office. Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own. If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge? They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

I got one this morning. Pre-recorded message stating legal action was going to be taken as against me. The first part was cut off but I'm assuming it is one of those IRS scams.
I received a call from 213-228-5629 stating they were the IRS calling and that I had 4 allegations against me and that if I didn't respond within 24 hours the "cops" would be coming to get me. I knew it was a scam as I had received the same call a few months ago.
