I also received a call from Mr Patrick Stone today. He has been calling me constantly for 2 weeks. I really thought I was in serious trouble and someone stole my identity. These creeps have my information! I told them I didn't believe him and he tried to have me call the CASHNET company...funny thing is they have very similar phone numbers. I knew this wasn't ligit. Can't wait til he calls me back. Im gonna rip him a new one!
that they were from the department of law of investigation and that his name was patrick stone and that i took a payday loan from cashnet usa and i owe 380 dollars and that criminal investigation was being brought against me and that i needed to get a lawyer, but it could be settle out of court if i pay the 1800 dollars. Then he said that i could pay 380.00 now and my case will be put on hold, with a credit are debit card. and they had two of my relative that i use as references, my social, and my bank account number where the money suppose to have went. they sounded like they were of arabic descent.
they called me 7, count them seven times today, harassing me and my mom saying that i owed them money. i looked this up online. and got this page and we are calling the attorney general tomorrow and i will post on here and let you know if they are frauds or not. and everytime we called and talked to someone, it was the same person using a different name. they had a middle eastern or indian accent. and it was a payday loans thing, which i did apply for but i had never received any money. there is more to this than what i have written but its such an extremely long story and like i said my mom and i are calling the new york state attorney general tomorrow morning and i will post on here and let you know what they say.
