I received the same phone call just a little while ago....the caller stated my name and said they were going to be out sometime tomorrow to serve me papers....Well come on and join the party! Send the papers so I can see what you are talking about! Better yet, I can't wait to get them because I know it's a scam.... I called the number back and the phone just rang!! So go figure!!!! SMH @ the STUPID people!!! I hung up on them and added them to my contacts so I can send their call right to voice mail whenever they do decide to call again!!!
Got a call from 2132609483 fast talking gentleman named 'Harvy Malone' laugh out loud.... Confirmed my name, then told me to call a number. I slowed him down, asked for and wrote down his name and the company he worked for: RW Associates, and he said he had court documents to deliver to me. I need to call 8888075801 and they would answer all my questions. I had a funny feeling so I googled the numbers and found this. Thank you all for confirming the scam!
I also got a call today someone wanting to give me legal papers ,gave me a case number,and anouther number to call,they wanted my credit card info.because they said I owed 4000 on a visa card from 1998-I have never had a visa card,I said see you in court.lol they are going to deliver the papers tommrow.I guess we will see if they show up.
just spoke to someone today the lady said exact same thing just wondering did you ever get those legal documents? they even gave me a number to call to discuss who filed the doucuments againts me...
I've been getting these same calls for 2 weeks now, I have never been served and this last time they asked to verify my address so they don't even have that. I have never called the number they gave me, but I did call my States Attorneys Office. They said DO NOT call the number they gave me, go file a harassment report at the police station and then bring the report to the States Attorneys Office and they will take over from there. The officer I was with today said not to call the other number, quit answering the phone when they call and never give them any of my personal information. Hopefully these phone calls will stop one day...
