got the same call other people here have received - claimed that my computer was having an issue - wanted me to be in front of it (which I was) and tried to explain that my computer was sending malware reports to Windows. When i asked him what he wanted me to do, he started treating me like an idiot (press the Start button) but when i tried pressing him for more details of what he wanted me to do, he got flustered, tried to tell me that he wanted to help and when I told him where to get off, he told me he knew my father and tried saying something in an bad Indian accent is when I hung up. Tried calling the number back but got a fast busy signal which indicates a trunk issue where ever this call originated. Complete and utter scam and just hang up on these people - just too stupid - do not be taken in!

Well you shut one down, and they pop up somewhere else. This squashed cockroach moved again the first Tuesday of 2012. "Send me $200 via Western Union and get a $7000 grant immediately…" 202-621-0363 U.S. Grant

This phone number contacted me within the last 15 minutes. Unlike the types of companies described by the previous posters, the caller, "Kevin," sounded like an Asian Indian accent, was trying to sell medications over the phone.
Same phone number, multiple "businesses," a total scam.
The story was that my windows server was sending error messages. At first I couldn't hear - bad phone connection. Then I said, I don't have a windows server, & they hung up abruptly. To my ear the accent was Pakistani or Indian.
