The person says they are with the Treasury Department and if you call them back they try to threaten you with different things. They are definitely foreigners from Central Asia or Middle East.
"... you received this message. I need you or your retained attorney of records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time-sensitive. My phone number is 213-289-3844. Do not disregard this message, and do return the call. Now if you don't return the call, and I don't hear from your attorney either, then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation totally unfolds on you. Goodbye."
Received a message from a Natasha Brown(sounded like a computer-generated voice), from the legal dept. of the I.R.S., stating there was a criminal lawsuit, filed against me(never mentioning any names). She requested a call-back from my attorney, saying that this case was "time-sensitive", if she did not hear back from my attorney, all she could do was to wish me good-luck, as the "situation", is about to "unfold" on me... goodbye. I was also warned during the message, "Do not ignore this call" !!! I called the #(213)289-3844. The phone never rang but 45 seconds into the call, a recorded voice said, " please leave your message at the sound of the tone". I waited for the tone(one never came), then I heard a "click", followed by a rapid busy signal.... I hung-up the phone. SCAM !
