This is a scam. First, they left a message on a Saturday from a guy with a heavy Middle Eastern accent . I've had other similar situations where they'd ask me to load a money order, etc. These ahre all scams. I even contacted the appropriate authorities and was told that the government would never call you and have you do something like this. Tell them to go to hell, or delete delete delete! !
The US government will NEVER call you to demand money.
They will NEVER give you a warning over the telephone that you are about to be arrested.
They will NEVER require payment by untraceable/unsecured electronic transfer.
If you're in arrears with the IRS you will get lots of written correspondence from them advising you of such - not an unsolicited telephone call late in the evening.
