The fraudster left a message on my phone stating he was from the US Treasury and I had done a "Serious Addition???" and to call him back and cooperate. Very thick accent.
We got 2 same exact calls. Our phone has the capabilities to block, so we blocked it. I found the following number on another site regarding this same matter. Report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
Same message as those below. It was on our answering machine on 9/13/14 number same 213-293-3920. Didn't return call. Many people in my area were called. San Jose, Los Gatos CA.
Someone called me this morning claiming they were from the U.S.Treasury legal department (213) 293-3920 and wanted to talk to me about an impending issue in my name. First of all he had a very heavy Indian accent, the Indians from India. Second of all he could hardly speak English. I said ,WHAT DO YOU WANT? He said could you hang up your speaker phone. I did then I said, What? He hung up on me.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
