The fraudster left a message on my phone stating he was from the US Treasury and I had done a "Serious Addition???" and to call him back and cooperate. Very thick accent.
Received a phone call from this number first at 7:54 a.m. One earlier but no response on end of line. Received one yesterday representing the US Treasury from 213-481-2498. Stupidly called back because I could not find a fraud alert. Was a disconnected number. Yesterday's caller was a Robo call with an asian accent. I will once again ensure all my fraud alerts are up to date.
I have received 4 phone calls today (3 calls from 213 293 3920 and 1 call from 213 401 2744). Calls are from a man stating his name is Steve Martin or Robert Matthews and he was calling from Legal Affairs US Treasury with an important issue to avoid my arrest. If I didn't comply police would be coming to my place of business to arrest me within 24 hours .
he said he was from the its and that the irs legal department and that a tax enforcement proceeding was taken issued against me by the its; however if i pay $3000.00, my name ill be cleared.
he said his name was robert matthew and that he is from the IRS, legal department. That an enforcement proceeding was issued against me by the IRS and that i had to pay $3,000.00 by tomorrow if not i would be arrested.
we received 3 calls this morning and 2 weeks ago. heavy Indian accent - Steve Matthews from IRS legal department. That we will be arrested if we ignored the call. All the calls were recorded and I am saving it and plan to report it. I tried to call the number 213-293-3920 but no one answered and had a busy signal. How can we stop these CRAZY people?
