Just got a call from 213-333-3206 claiming the whole "your gonna crash your computer" "using microsoft windows" "sending error reports" stuff. Told him it sounded like a scam and ended the call. Looked up the number and well you know the rest if you are reading this.
Received a call from 2133333206. woman with accent and static on phone stated I had problems with my computer software and system was sending error reports, she wanted me to go to my computer right away and made it sound really serious. I hung up. I am on the do not call list and should not receive these calls.
I received one of these calls today from that number saying he was calling from Windows. I asked him where he was calling from and he said Ohio, wrong! the number came up as a California #. When I mentioned this he started ranting and raving, saying my phone was giving me wrong information so I hung up. When I tried to make a call a few minutes later he was still on the line, I told him to get a life and hang up. Cant print what he said!
This IS indeed a legit company from INDIA. All their offices (in INDIA and the USA) are under the email address: [email protected]. Send all your complaints to that address and SWAMP THEM OUT WITH EMAILS!! They are a pest well worth getting rid of!
yes there is a company MGL but their Calif office numbers are NOT in 213 area code which is LA they are in the Bay area also their name is MGL not MGL BPO ...they have called me I never answer they called for awhile then stopped and have started to call again.
