The calls started today, Nov. 1, 2007 at 8Am, then again at 8:15AM, 8:40AM,8:49AM,9:07AM,9:23AM and 9:35AM. They never leave a message. Where are they calling from geographically? I do not know who this company is, and I have not signed up for ANYTHING! I too am on the NATIONAL NO CALL LIST but,I figure someone I do business with has sold my telephone number! I work nights and this has taken me out of my deep sleep, and is keeping me from going back to sleep, afraid to turn my phone off in case my children have an emergency...I am furious!!!!! After reading this site,I am turning my Fax Machine on when they call! That should give them an ear full!!!! I did finally answer the phone, there was a foreign woman on the other end and when she called me by my name, I asked her why she has called me 15 times in the last 1 hr., and 12 mins., she hung up on me! Hopefully, that has taken me off their list! Will let you know if not!
They call saying we asked for information on grants and want my credit card number. I told them no, and now I get 10-20 calls a day. I tell them I dont want there product, I didnt request it, and to stop calling me or I will sue for harrasment. The best I have gotten is " I will put in an action order,sir" (??) and the worst was laughing! Is there a " do not call" list somewhere? do I have legal recourse? They wont even give me an address to mail a "stop calling" request to! Im getting quite sick of the whole thing.
I have been getting calls from this number everyday for the last 2 weeks..At least 8 times a day.Doesn't do any good to not answer or to tell them not to call again...They call anyway..Wish there was a way to stop them.
