He knew our address.
I asked to tell me my wife's social security number if they are going to start proceedings against me, and he wouldn't answer the question.
I asked to talk to his supervisor to verify the authenticity of his call, so it is not a scam. And he threatened my wife and said "just wait and see what happens tomorrow when the police take my wife away" for tax issues.
Leaves message in heavily accented English that he is Adam Peterson from Treasury Dept. Have my lawyer call immediately or they will begin proceedings. Have a blessed day! Scam!
My wife received a call from these guys today. I got on the phone and was told to go to my bank and get $3,700 in cash and send it to them. Needless to say, I told him where to stick it and promptly hung up. He hasn't called back.
