It's next to impossible to return items once you have fallen for this scam. I've found a fast and easy way to end these calls: let them get through their initial pitch about the new catalog and whatever seasonal special event that they are kicking off, then they always ask if I'm still using that 2" tape, same as ever, to which I respond "no, we're completely off tape here. We're exclusively using adhesives here." This confuses them enough to end the call. Feel free to use this non-sequitur next time they call, it's kind of fun.
Got a call from Dynatech just a few minutes ago, I hung up on the guy. He called right back my supervisor answered this time told the guy we do not do business with them the guy told my Supervisor that he could lose his job for not accepting their catalog. How rude. Anytime you get a call from these jokers, just hang up.
A man called and asked for the shipping dept. I asked him what it was regarding and he said he had a package being shipped UPS.he wanted to verify my address and name, we did. he then said he would transfer me to someone else to make sure they had the spelling right, didnt feel right .after hanging up with this guy i looked up the number on line sure enough i had been set up. these people are scam artist.................i called 18009601138 and demanded a stop to any order that they may be sending to me.
Once they got a name they said a bill would be sent directly to us. I didn't put in an order. Did the research, called them back and cancelled the order. Who do they think they are? Their number is 818-808-0868.
Asked for the shipping department, when i asked him what it was pertaining to he refused to tell me and then told me i will tell you one last time i need shipping! Us receptionist have enough to worry about! Jeez, how do these people sleep at night? Sneaky Snakes!
