It's next to impossible to return items once you have fallen for this scam. I've found a fast and easy way to end these calls: let them get through their initial pitch about the new catalog and whatever seasonal special event that they are kicking off, then they always ask if I'm still using that 2" tape, same as ever, to which I respond "no, we're completely off tape here. We're exclusively using adhesives here." This confuses them enough to end the call. Feel free to use this non-sequitur next time they call, it's kind of fun.
I have gotten several calls from Dynatech, asking for shipping dept. each time I tell them we are not interested and to stop calling. Today I got a man and told him again to stop calling and that I have told you we are simply not interested, he said he was a new sales rep, I said I dont care delete us from your system now, I then hung up. If they call again I will report them to the FCC and BBB, I will let them know I am doing this as well. Wish I had a blow horn to use to make my point with these people!
We get so many calls, I'm automatically suspicious of a weird area code. When I answered this call, male voice only said "Mailroom" in a weird tone. I didn't respond, and just put him on hold. He hung up and called back. Meantime, I pulled up this number quickly on the internet and saw these comments, so when he called back the second time, I just picked up the phone and hung up on him. Creeps!!!
guy called said he was from Dynatech wanting to verify if we still use 2" tape and wants to send us catalogs. I told him we do but we don't buy it from them so please not to send us anything. He hung up.
guy asked for the shipping department. When I told him I could help him he just hung up. I tried calling back to file a complaint with his supervisor and got no response. Almost as if the line was dead.
THESE PEOPLE CALL SAYING THEY WOULD SEND ME A FREE SONY RADIO W/SOME 2" TAPE SO I TRY TO CALL BACK TO NO AVAIL, THEY SAID THE USE TO DEAL WITH A GUY THAT USE TO BE IN MY POSITION. I KNOW NEXT TIME TO HANG UP ON THEM
