The person who said it was a pharmaceutical company in India got it right. Here's the thing about drugs from India. India is a very smart country in that it has laws that require the drug companies to sell their drugs at only an x% markup over real cost. That way, drugs are cheaper and their citizens can afford to stay healthy. This makes buying drugs from India very attractive for us in the USA who get raped by our criminally gov't supported pharmaceutical companies. I am guessing that many of you have signed up at some point in time on some website for ordering drugs. You may not have actually ordered and you may not have even realized the website was from India. I have a very reputable Indian site that I have been ordering meds from for several years. I save lots and lots of money. However, they will turn your email address into a spamfest and you will occassionally get these spam phone calls. My suggestion when ordering from these companies: 1) make up a new email address on yahoo or google just for ordering meds. Use it once and who cares if it gets spammed. 2) Before ordering, go into your credit card company website and do 2 things. 1st, get a virtual limited use credit card number on your account and 2) add some new bogus name as an Authorized User. You can do both these things online in just a couple minutes. Then when you place your order, use the bogus "authorized user" name and the virtual credit card number. This way, these places will not get your name or your real credit card number. Also, if the packages gets caught in customs and they find out it's prescription drugs(very unlikely) it's in someone elses name and you can play dumb.
I got this stupid call at like 9am and answered only to be hung up on. Why waste your time calling my cell phone when you're just going to hang up? a-holes! I don't know anyone from California state, only California, MO.
Like an idiot I wanted to order some prescription drugs online. Filled out all my information and when it got to the credit card information they didn't take MasterCard, so I cancelled the order. Well, they have my phone number and now it's non stop calling. Sometimes they leave a message and sometimes they do not. One time the message was someone else's calling. The person was calling back because they just received a call from them with no message. Why on earth do people get so curious when a number appears on their phone that they are not familiar with, is beyond me. When he found out who they were he said he couldn't talk right now.
Received call from this number. Telemarketer stated they wanted to help with any unsecured debt I may have. When I told him I didn't have any unsecured debt, he asked "not even hospital bills?" Again told him no and asked how he got this number. He asked if I was on the DO NO CALL list. I said yes, and told him to remove me from their system. He said he would, but didn't tell how he got my #. We'll see if that actually happens
