just got a call from this number trying to sell me a home alarm system. i told the rep to never call this number again and that i'd be reporting her company. when you get a call like this go to the DoNotCall registry website and report it!! your number is in the do-not-call list, right? not enough people report these creeps, that's why they are still at it.
For cell phone, block the number using your phone features.
For landline - Most major landline phone provders have blocking features. Here is a good article: http://www.ehow.com/how_5707264_block-phone-number-calling.html talk about one of the features. I am with AT&T, and have activated "Anonymous Call Blocking" and "Call Blocking". So far so good, but it's just been 2 days.
I just received a call from this number (213-725-5376) and it did take a while for them to pick up the phone after I answered. They are trying to sell a home security system and offered me $800.00 in free merchandise just for trying it. I asked who she was with and she said the name of the company is Home Security Group and they are located in Los Angeles. What REALLY bugs me, is they called on my cell phone, which is registered with the Do Not Call Registry both online and I had also registered it by calling the Do Not Call Registry. Hope this helps:)
I got a call this evening from this number with no message of course. Fortunately, I don't answer calls in which I don't know the number. Only important people leave messages!
