Just got a call from this number for the first time.
It's a cleverly automatic recorded sales call from GE Security, offering a "free" in-home security system if you will put a sign up in your yard for to advertise the system to your friends and neighbors. I say the automated call is "clever" because although it sounds like a "real" person, it is not. It is a well spoken recording with just the right amount of pauses after "he" poses "his" questions and the system recognizes when you say something, especially "No". It says "Ok, thank you for your time" and disconnects.
I am on the "Do Not Call" list so I'm unsure how this person got my number.
I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I think they're trying to sell some home security thing. They asked for the homeowner. I told him that I am the homeowner and to take my number off their list. He kept asking me to repeat it. I think it's some kind of a joke. So I hung up. When I tried calling back, Verizon says that the call cannot be completed.
